Sangrur/Sunam/Joginder/ August 14 /- Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm, zeal and patriotic spirit at Akal Academy Ubhya. The event began with Shabad-Gurbani. After this, the students presented the national anthem and patriotic songs.
During the event, the students gave impressive presentations of speeches, poems, choreography and dramas, remembering the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and the great martyrs of the country. Through their presentations, the students conveyed the message of the importance of freedom, duties towards the country and national unity.
On this occasion, the teachers made the students aware of the importance of freedom and motivated them to contribute honestly and responsibly for the unity, integrity and progress of the country. During the event, the entire atmosphere of the school was full of patriotic spirit.
The school principal Gurjit Kaur appreciated the excellent performances of the students and motivated them to serve the country, the welfare of the society and fulfill their duties as a responsible citizen.
