Sunam/Joginder: A special assembly was organized today at Acadia World School, Sunam, to commemorate the martyrdom day of the great revolutionary Shaheed Udham Singh Ji. On this occasion, students paid heartfelt tributes to him, recalling his life, his struggles, and his unparalleled sacrifice for the nation.
During the special assembly, students of Class VIII presented an impressive portrayal of key events from Shaheed Udham Singh Ji’s life—spanning from his childhood to his ultimate sacrifice. The students beautifully depicted his patriotism, courage, unwavering resolve, and dedication to the motherland.
Additionally, a student paid tribute by reciting a soulful poem dedicated to Shaheed Udham Singh Ji’s sacrifice, while other students honored him through a patriotic song. Their performances deeply moved everyone present, including the students and teachers.
The school’s Principal, Mrs. Ranjeet Kaur, along with the teaching staff, attended the event. Praising the students’ performances, Principal Mrs. Ranjeet Kaur remarked that the life of Shaheed Udham Singh Ji stands as an inspiring example of patriotism, courage, and self-sacrifice. She urged everyone to draw inspiration from his life and to understand their own duties towards the country.
